About Us

ALM Engineering grew out of genuine frustration. After years of competing in time trials and endlessly tinkering with my bike setup, I couldn't find arm rests that met my standards. The options available were either overpriced, poorly designed, or both — so I decided to build my own.

What started as personal experimentation around five years ago has grown into a range of precision cycling components, each designed and manufactured here in the UK using advanced additive manufacturing techniques. I know that many people still associate 3D printing with prototyping, but the reality is that modern manufacturing-grade processes produce parts of exceptional strength, precision and consistency — the same technology trusted across aerospace, motorsport and medical industries. It simply allows me to produce high-quality components without the huge overheads of traditional manufacturing, which means better products at a fairer price for you.

I design these products as a rider myself. I know what it feels like to want to find those marginal gains, and I know what it's like to baulk at the price of premium components. ALM Engineering exists to bridge that gap.
